Rhondels

For over twenty years the "Rhondells" have pleased audiences all over the country. Playing clubs and colleges in North Carolina and Virginia the group soon became one of the hottest acts in the area and a record deal with Heritage Records. In 1969 they were named one of Billboards top 10 newcomers with covers of "I've Been Hurt", "May I", and "What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am". In the 90's the "Rhondells" released a remake of the "Tramps", "Hold Back the Night". It is remarkable that the "Rhondells" have remained at the top of their field for so long.
